Research and Training Toolkit

Dear grantee, to enable payment of your award, please complete the claim form below and upload via the grants system.

After your Research/Training visit, please complete the Report Form and Grantee Statement. The report of your visit should be in the format of a scientific article, including abstract, introduction, results, discussion and reference sections.

The Grantee Statement is an opportunity to tell us about you, your research/training visit and your experience of the grants process. We will use this information to promote you and your research via our communication networks (and it should therefore include images of you and your work). Your feedback will also help us to continue to improve the grants process.

FEMS Journals and Open Access

Embracing an Open Future

All but one of the FEMS journals are now fully open access (OA), with one journal, FEMS Microbiology Letters remaining a subscription journal with free-to-publish and OA options. Open access is key to supporting the FEMS mission of disseminating high quality research as widely as possible: when high quality, peer reviewed sound science is open access, anyone, anywhere in the world with an internet connection, can read it.
