Biology of Host-Parasite Interactions (GRC) - The Molecular, Cellular and Biochemical Basis of Parasitism by Eukaryotic Pathogens

The Biology of Host-Parasite Interactions Gordon Research Conference (GRC) and its associated GRS provide a rare and valuable opportunity for postdocs and graduate students to present their work in front of many of the luminaries of the field. The 2020 editions of the meetings will focus on the latest, unpublished research into the basis of pathogenesis in parasitic disease as well as methods for translating these findings into new therapeutic and preventative strategies. In addition, for the first time, we will devote a session of the meeting to communicating scientific findings to the public and to policy makers, something that has not been emphasized in the past and we believe is necessary for maintaining public support for fundamental discovery scientific research, particularly in today’s often divisive political climate.

Applications for this meeting must be submitted by May 17, 2020.

Financial assistance is available for qualified applicants through the GRC Carl Storm Underrepresented Minority Fellowship Program.
