FEMS Member Society since 2017

The main aims of the Lithuanian Microbiological Society are:

• promotion of the development of the science in microbiology in the Republic of Lithuania
• mobilization of researchers and practitioners in purse to develop a theoretical framework for further escalation of microbiology and biotechnology as well as introduction of the microbiological achievements into public economy
• support of members of the Lithuanian Microbiological Society in raising their skills and realizing the results of scientific work.
• cooperation with other Lithuanian and foreign scientific societies, support of scientific-organizational relationships with foreign and international organizations working in the fields of microbiology
