7th International Human Microbiome Congress (IHMC 2018)

The aim of IHMC 2018 is to provide a platform to highlight the latest advances and challenges in microbiome research, from discovery to delivery. The conference also aims to provide networking opportunities for researchers with an interest in microbiome science from around the world, from  academia and industry, as well as for early career researchers.  The conference is run under the auspices of the International Human Microbiome Consortium with the APC Microbiome Institute in Ireland as the local organizers. The organizing committee has ensured gender balance and a wide geographical representation in the programme of speakers and chairs. The scope of the conference will cover a wide range of themes including: Mining the microbiota for molecules and therapeutics, From FMT to Live Biotherapeutics, Barriers and challenges to translating microbiome science, Microbiome-host interactions, Non-bacterial microbiome, Diet-microbiome interactions, Analyzing microbiome and host data, Diseases including Cancer, HIV & IBD, Cohort studies – recent insights.
