Thank you to the thousands of scientists from around the world who made ASM Microbe 2026 in Washington, D.C., a resounding success. Your energy, expertise and engagement brought the new 3-meeting structure to life—demonstrating the power of deeper focus and cross-disciplinary connection.

Now, we’re building on that momentum. Join us in Chicago for ASM Microbe 2027, where the global microbiology community will once again come together to share discoveries, spark collaboration and shape the future of the field.

Session proposals are now closed as of August 12.
Mark your calendars, abstracts will open mid-November.
