CEPI and the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation are launching a request for information (RfI) on rapid response vaccine and antibody technologies that could be used to address future emerging diseases.

We request information on technologies related to production of both vaccines and antibody therapeutics. The Request for Information (RFI) will be used to populate that landscape, as well as to influence the development of a Call for Proposals (CFP) by CEPI on rapid response platform technologies specifically for vaccine development. The CEPI CFP is anticipated to be issued in early June 2017.

The vaccine technology platforms should be suitable to be adapted to two or more of the WHO list of priority pathogens

How to respond to this RFI

All fields of the RFI template must be completed. The RfI should communicate the proposer’s concept/technology and prospects for clinical assessment and long term readiness capabilities of the technology. The total length of the concept should not exceed 5 pages using the template and format (including font size) provided. Submissions after the deadline or that exceed five pages will not be accepted.
