Field Support Scientist – High Throughput Automation (United Kingdom)

Focus:

Position will support business units and UK sales teams from a technical support standpoint. Ideal candidates will have experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic or clinical settings using automated liquid handlers for nucleic acid purification, protein purification, performing compound screening and/or cell culture.

The primary responsibility is to support standard and custom High Throughput (HT) reagent evaluations in customer laboratories while being recognised as the technical product expert for related applications. Other responsibilities include providing technical advice, supporting commercialisation efforts, troubleshooting methodology, training customers and recommending Promega products and solutions in this area. Experience scripting multiple automated liquid handling platforms (Tecan, Hamilton, Beckman or other) is mandatory, as is the necessary experience with software and instrumentation to create and develop custom automated scripts using Promega reagents in the customer laboratory or internally.
