After a successful meeting at Heron Island, we are delighted to welcome the growing global gas fermentation community to the Azores for the 2027 Gas Fermentation Conference.

The conference aims to provide an inclusive and collaborative environment where all participants contribute actively and equally to the scientific program. Instead of featuring keynote spekers, all participants will be given a short presentation slot, creating a balanced and engaging program. Plenty of time will be set aside for discussions, networking, and informal interactions, helping to spark new ideas, strengthen collaborations, and connect researchers across different career stages and areas of expertise.
