Fighting AMR

Innovation in diagnostics for fighting AMR: Launch of White Paper

Date: 31 May 2017

Location: European Parliament, Brussels, Belgium

Excessive and inappropriate use of antibiotics has progressively turned antimicrobial resistance into a huge threat for humankind. As the pipeline of new antibiotics is almost dry, a coherent and multisector approach at all levels of government is urgently needed. Fostering innovation in diagnostic technologies represents a key factor to reduce antibiotic misuse and abuse. The EP Interest Group is delighted to invite you to the launch of a round-table discussion on the:

White Paper on rapid diagnostic technologies to tackle antimicrobial resistance to discuss the role of innovation in antimicrobial resistance policies.
