The meeting will focus on the latest developments in the field of microbial stress responses. It aims to showcase the most exciting recent developments and technological advances that have shed light on how microbes sense and respond to harsh environmental conditions. Talks will cover a range of topics from fundamental to applied and will address stress responses in both prokaryotic and eukaryotic microorganisms. With about 150-200 delegates expected at the meeting there will be excellent opportunities for networking and exchanging of scientific ideas. There will be FEMS-sponsored bursaries available to help young researchers attend the meeting (see website for details).
