A post-doctoral research position is available in the Laboratory of Tropical Disease at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) for studies in pathogenesis of severe malaria, with emphasis on endothelial activation. Candidates should have prior knowledge and experience with model of severe malaria in mouse, culture of mammalian and parasite cells and molecular/cellular biology techniques.

iv) a letter of recommendation from a reference professional who knows the candidate

The selection process will be carried out by analyzing the applicant’s registration documents and also by an interview (Skype) of the pre-selected candidates. The result of the selection process will be informed by e-mail near January 10, 2019. The interview will also be scheduled by e-mail.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP’s Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 7,373.10 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
