One post-doc position is available at the Laboratory of Agricultural and Environmental Microbiology (AgEMLab) at the University of Milan (Italy), within the project “Heavy Metal Biorecovery and Valorization (HMBV)”.

The HMBV project is aimed at exploiting microbial biosorption for removing heavy metals from electroplating wastewater, converting these pollutants into organic-metallic compounds to be exploited as biocatalysts or as high commercial value salts, at the same time allowing the reuse of the cleaned wastewater in the production cycle, in line with the Circular Economy concept.
