Postdoc in the Evolution of Plant Signaling: Germany
Postdoc position (m/f/d E13 TV-L 100%) in the Evolution of Plant Signaling Lab, Center for Plant Molecular Biology (ZMBP), University of Tübingen.
A postdoc position (3 years) is available in the Evolution of Plant Signaling Lab, in the Center for Plant Molecular Biology (ZMBP), at the University of Tübingen (Germany). The position is immediately available, but the starting date is flexible (preferably by the end of 2023).
The project is focused on the regulation of receptor kinases in the green lineage in the context of plant immunity and development. We are combining phylogenetic analyses in available plant genomes with functional studies (genetics, omics, pathoassays, biochemistry…) in diverse model organisms (notably Marchantia polymorpha) to unravel the molecular evolution of distinct signaling pathways that regulate plant immunity and development in streptophytes.
