Join us to find out how to make your voice heard in public debates about science and evidence.

Workshop details

  • Every year, Sense about Science awards the international John Maddox Prize for promoting science in the face of hostility. This year, on the day of the prize giving, our London workshop is dedicated to helping early career researchers, particularly those working in difficult subject areas.
  • Attendees will meet people who have stood up for science and who have been recognized for their achievements.
  • Meet scientists who’ve engaged with the media and learn from respected science journalists about how the media works, how to respond and comment, and what journalists want and expect from scientists.

Apply by 17.00 GMT on 13 November 2017 to get your free place.
