The Young Microbiologists Symposium on Microbe Signalling, Organisation and Pathogenesis will be held in Riddel Hall, Queen’s University Belfast, Northern Ireland on 27 – 28 August 2018.

The Young Microbiologists Symposium is intended to bring together graduate students and postdoctoral researchers to discuss their current research and will provide an excellent opportunity for junior scientists to present their work and receive constructive feedback.

There will be four seminar sessions, covering the following highly topical areas of prokaryotic molecular microbiology:

• Gene regulation and signalling;
• Infection and immunity;
• Secretion and transport across membranes;
• Antibiotics and Resistance mechanisms.
