Inside Corona
This initiative is the result of an international team of researchers coming together to contribute to the global effort of fighting coronavirus. They want to make the invisible enemy visible by looking at the molecules that make up the virus and facilitate its life cycle. It is supported by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
The Coronavirus Structural Task Force examines the structures from SARS and SARS-CoV-2 virus which are released to evaluate the quality and improve the structures where possible.
Inside Corona also compile resources for non-scientists, for example, news, Coronavirus coloring – for relaxation- for kids and adults, among others. Also, for scientists, Inside Corona compile resources to study, refine, reprocess, and model the structure of SARS and SARS-CoV-2, and offers the possibility of update the structures in the Protein Data Bank.
