The 2023 General Assembly of the European Geoscience Union (EGU23) is going to be held on 23-29 April 2023 in Vienna, Austria.

The EGU General Assembly 2023 brings together geoscientists from all over the world to one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary, and space sciences. The EGU aims to provide a forum where scientists, especially early career researchers, can present their work and discuss their ideas with experts in all fields of geoscience.

During EGU23 there will be a session on Cryobiomes in a Warming World (focusing on prokaryotic and eukaryotic microorganisms from polar and alpine regions). We would like to encourage scientists from various disciplines researching cryobiome-change related issues to submit abstracts for session BG6.1 before 10th January 2023.
