The 39th Small Meeting on Yeast Transport and Energetics (SMYTE) meeting will be held at the University of York, United Kingdom. This will be held 28th August – 1st September 2024. There will be a series of exciting talks, including keynote speakers, to showcase new and unpublished research in the field.

There will be talks spanning structure, function and regulation of transport across different fungal membranes, including various pathogenic and non-pathogenic species. An array of cellular processes regulated by transport and bioenergetic mechanisms will be discussed, for example, homeostatic control, physiology under normal and stress conditions, and contributors to drug resistance. All career stages will be represented across the scientific programme, so early career researchers, postdocs and students are encouraged to submit abstracts for consideration.
