This ESGAP workshop covers the main antibiotics used and infectious diseases encountered in hospitals. In an intensive three-day program, clinical experts will cover the basics of antibiotic therapy, and will discuss the rationale behind the antibiotic treatment regimens of the most relevant infections hospital phycisians. The course material is practiced with case discussions and test questions.

The intended audience consists primarily of trainees and specialists in internal medicine or intensive care medicine, and trainees and fellows in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases. The course accepts a maximum of two groups of 30 participants.
