The 8th Workshop of the Nordic Environmental Nucleotide Network (NENUN) will take place on 14-16 November 2017 at Copenhagen Bio Science Park (COBIS).

NENUN provide a basis for a closer collaboration and fostering of young scientists on the use of advanced nucleotide based techniques to study microbial ecosystems in various Nordic environments.

The use of molecular techniques has been widely accepted in all areas of life science. Within environmental biotechnology, the use of such approaches has already proved superior in many cases. The development of efficient methodologies is complicated and is a continuing challenge.

NENUN seeks to further understanding of microbial ecology in biotechnological environmental applications as well as in exploring the biodiversity of environmental active microorganisms.
