Gdansk University of Technology is looking for an assistant in the Department of Molecular Biotechnology and Microbiology, Faculty of Chemistry, Gdansk University of Technology. Molecular biology laboratory with elements of analytical chemistry laboratory – light cycler, thermocycler, electrophoresis platform, HPLC.

Tasks/Role

• DNA research
• elaboration of new DNA technologies

Requirements

• proficiency in the use of molecular biology techniques (gel electrophoresis techniques, PCR)
• proficiency in using analytical techniques of high performance liquid chromatography
  and mass spectrometry
• experience in experimental work with the creation of biopolymer conjugates
• experience in handling specialized software for quantum-chemical calculations (QM and/
  or QM/MM) and molecular mechanics
• knowledge of English and Polish in speech and writing
• experience in the preparation / management of scientific projects
• documented scientific achievements (publications, scientific internships, conferences
  courses / trainings)
