The five FEMS journals are committed to sharing new knowledge and promoting new ideas. We want to continue building the online presence of the journals to increase our engagement with the scientific community and to help translate research into impact.

To this end, we are looking for a dedicated volunteer team of FEMS Journal Social Media Editors to drive forward our social media strategy for each of the five journals. This is an excellent professional development opportunity to get involved in modern science communication and to be at the heart of cutting edge science publishing.

Journal Social Media Editors 

We are looking for candidates who:

• are organized team players
• have some previous experience in using social media as a science communication tool
• enjoy transforming microbiology concepts into interesting bite-size formats
• interested in keeping a finger on the pulse for trending microbiology topics on social media
