FEMS Ukraine Conflict Support Grant

Applications are now open for the FEMS Ukraine Conflict Support Grant.

This scheme aims to support Early Career Microbiologists who are directly affected by the Ukraine conflict. The grant will allow Early Career Microbiologists to undergo research and training at a European host institution (academic or industrial) in a country other than their own country of residence.

This grant is open for Early Career Microbiologists* who can demonstrate that they are directly affected by the Ukraine conflict (submitted as part of the application form). Applicants must also be a member of a FEMS Member Society.

There are no deadlines for this grant, instead applications will be reviewed directly after submission.

*ECS have obtained their highest degree less than five years prior to the application deadline date or are PhD students. Periods of maternity/paternity leave, special leave or illness do not count toward this definition.
