Full-time Research and Teaching Position in Microbiology: Belgium

A mandate of full-time assistant is granted for a first term of 2 years, renewable after opinion of the competent bodies for 2 other periods of 2 years maximum for a full time. Since the purpose of the assistant mandate is to conduct and finalize a doctoral thesis, the tasks will be equitably divided between ‘Teaching’, ‘Research’ and ‘Community Service’. These can be reviewed on a regular basis. The doctoral thesis will be in the Laboratory of Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics of the Faculty of Pharmacy (Prof. Prof. Karim Amighi).

The aim of this project is to contribute significantly to the improvement of the nose-to-brain delivery of active pharmaceutical ingredient, in the form of a solid powder sprayed in the nose, by using up-to-date digital technologies, such as 3D printing techniques and Computational Fluid Dynamics.
