Kelly Scientific  are working with a leading manufacturer of personal care and cosmetic products based in Bradford. They are keen to recruit for a Microbiologist to join their established team on a permanent basis. The main purpose of the role will be to conduct routine microbiological testing in order to ensure the release of finished products and raw materials.

Location: Bradford
Salary: £25K
Hours: M-F; 40 hours/week; 8-5 (early finish Friday)

Further Responsibilities:
– Provide support to the Microbiology Manager in the day-day management of the laboratory
– Perform and execute the site’s existing and new validation projects
– Work closely with the Microbiology Manager to investigate OOS results and help to resolve them
– Provide GMP/hygiene training as needed
– Any other tasks as delegated by the Microbiology Manager

Requirements:
– Educated to degree level within Microbiology is essential
– Proven experience within industry of carrying out environmental testing, water testing and standard microbiological tests (identification, plating, culturing, gram stains)
– Experience and knowledge of GMP, GLP is required
– Excellent communication and problem solving skills
