Project title: Functional studies of gene regulatory networks in Trichoderma reesei during the cellulases formation

Summary

The candidate must have experience in molecular biology of filamentous fungi, especially in functional genomics. The candidate will work on the characterization of new sugar transporters. Gene expression of mutants, sugar consumption and integration into gene expression networks will be evaluated. Knowledge of bioinformatics is required. In addition, the candidate is expected to have leadership and independence to work together with the scientific initiation, masters and doctoral team who make up the Thematic Project. The fellow will be based in the Ribeirão Preto Medical School of the University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP), in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo state, Brazil. This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 8,479.20 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity
