Postdoctoral call Juan de la Cierva - Bacterial signaling: Spain / Contrato postdoctoral Juan de la Cierva - señalización bacteriana: España

2-year postdoctoral contracts at Estación Experimental del Zaidín (CSIC), Granada (España),  through Juan de la Cierva programs:

Research topic: Signal transduction in bacteria, chemotaxis, quorum sensing, functional annotation of sensing proteins.

Experimental techniques: Microbiology/Genetics (generation and study of mutants, genetic expression assays, RNA-seq), proteins biochemistry and structural biology (purification, cristalisation and resolution of structures in collaboration with the cristalographic laboratory of Granada), proteins biophysics (microcalorimetry, ultracentrifugation, differential scanning fluorimetry)

Se buscan candidatos para solicitar contratos postdoctorales Juan de la Cierva de 2 años de duración en la Estación Experimental del Zaidín, Granada (España), en sus dos modalidades:

Línea de investigación: sistemas de traducción de señales en bacterias, quimiotaxis, quimiorreceptores, mecanismos de quorum sensing, anotación funcional de proteínas sensoras.

Técnicas a emplear: microbiología/genética (generación y estudio de mutantes, ensayos de expresión génica, RNA-seq), bioquímica de proteínas y biología estructural (purificación de proteínas, cristalización y resolución de estructuras en colaboración con el laboratorio de estudios cristalográficos de Granada), biofísica de proteínas (microcalorimetría, ultracentrifugación analítica, differential scanning fluorimetry)
