Postdoctoral Position in Spatial Epidemiology of Antimicrobial Resistance: Switzerland
TH Zurich offers a Postdoctoral Position in Spatial Epidemiology of Antimicrobial Resistance (100%)
Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) – the ability of microbes to evolve and resist treatment – is rising globally. In September 2016, the United Nations General Assembly declared AMR “the most urgent global risk”, and mandated its member states to establish national action plans against AMR, including improvements to epidemiological surveillance systems. This position is part of a project funded by the join programming initiative on AMR to improve surveillance in low- and middle-income countries.
We are looking for an enthusiast and quantitatively minded candidate to work on the spatial association between antimicrobial use and resistance in pig farms in Thailand.
