KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm offers a Research Assistant position. The applicant will design and construct DNA plasmids, perform transformation of bacteria, and cultivate bacteria in bioreactors. The applicant will construct transposon mutagenesis vectors. Applicant will create next-generation sequencing libraries and analyze sequence data from transposon mutant populations. Applicant is expected to compile results for publication in a scientific manuscript.

Qualifications

Applicant will have a B.Sc. in Biotechnology or equivalent. Applicant must have experience with molecular cloning techniques and must have experience with analysis of NGS data.
