SfAM: Editor-in-Chief of Environmental Microbiology and Environmental Microbiology Reports

The Society for Applied Microbiology and Wiley invite applications for the role of Editor-in-Chief of EMI&EMIR, as Founding Editor, Professor Kenneth Timmis, will be retiring after 25 years at the helm. Applications from Co-Editors wishing to job-share are encouraged. Tenure of a three-year minimum commitment is anticipated to begin in September 2022.

The overall role will be to lead and develop the journals in line the long-term editorial direction agreed with the society and publisher. To act as an ambassador for the journal and the society, upholding the highest ethical standards, actively promoting the journal within their extensive international network of contacts to attract authors to submit their best research.
