Increasing prioritization of sustainability in agriculture has led to rapid growth in the agricultural biologicals industry. The benefits of biological products in agriculture are significant, and developments in technology and research make agricultural biologicals an exciting, dynamic industry in which to work and study. It is also becoming clear that we cannot address the need for increased crop productivity to feed a growing world population without better understanding of the interactions between plants and the organisms in their environments, which is why this is the perfect time to learn more about plant and soil microbiome research, and the biocontrol and biostimulant products that are being developed to serve this need.
