2016 Peter Wildy Prize for Professor Wendy Barclay

At the Microbiology Society’s 2016 Annual Conference in March, Professor Wendy Barclay from Imperial College London was awarded the Peter Wildy Prize, presented each year to an individual who has made a significant contribution to communicating microbiology. Professor Barclay was interviewed for the Microbiology Society’s website, answering a few questions about her career, the state of modern virology, and why outreach work is important.
