The greatest challenges we face today are global, requiring global responses from a global community. We are proud to work with a diverse range of microbiology communities that have been built on the solid foundations of our activities – our five journals, biennial Congress, the European Academy of Microbiology, volunteers and extensive grants and awards programme. By connecting more than 30,000 researchers, over 50 Member Societies, microbiology experts, volunteers and campaigners from these different communities into a unified global microbiology community, we empower people to come together to jointly promote excellence, leadership and impact in science on a global level.
