The 28th International Conference on Yeast Genetics and Molecular Biology welcomes all yeast researchers to Prague, Czech Republic. This conference will cover highly significant research fields and are open for all yeast species:

- new tools in yeast research

- pathogens and host interactions
- yeast sensing and signalling
It is expected that participants from neighboring countries will be in high attendance representing a strong Central and Eastern European presence at the meeting. The meeting will be an excellent opportunity to promote personal contacts and fruitful international collaborations between scientists from Central and Eastern Europe and their colleagues from all over the world.
The conference will commence with a keynote opening lecture from 2016 Nobel Prize Laureate, Professor Yoshinori Ohsumi.
