The Van der Henst Lab at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel / Flanders Institute for Biotechnology, is looking for a motivated and experienced bioinformatician to strengthen their team that focuses on multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii bacteria.

The position is available asap and is it open funded.

The ideal candidate will have confirmed skills in bacterial genomics such as de novo assembly (Illumina / MinION), gene annotation, comparative genomics, along with a high level of team spirit and independency.
