Get involved in our Election Committee

Are you looking to extend your network and build your experience while supporting the advancement of microbiology? Then have a look at our call for candidates for the Election Committee.
The Election Committee is established with the overall objective of encouraging nominations to the FEMS Board of Directors (the “BoD”) of candidates representing the full diversity of FEMS Member Societies and of the FEMS community. At the same time, the ElCom will ensure there are fair and appropriate nominations for each position on the BoD and will oversee the election process, ensuring full transparency and compliance with existing regulations.   • a nomination statement (from the nominating Society)
  • a motivation letter (from the nominee)
  • a brief curriculum vitae of the nominee

What is the nomination deadline? 30 June 2017
I am interested in getting nominated, what do I need to do?You can express your interest in nomination by contacting the Delegate of your FEMS Member Society. You can find a list of FEMS Member Societies and their FEMS Delegates here. To complete your nomination, the Society will require from you:

  •  your motivation letter
  •  your brief curriculum vitae
I have sent in a nomination, but it is not complete. What do I need to do?You can send the remaining items of the required documents/statements to fems@fems-microbiology.org with the subject header: FEMS NOMINATIONS: (FAO Stefano Donadio), deadline 30 June 2017:
