PhD position- Microbiome in the maternal-infant binomial: Spain/ Candidato predoctoral - Microbioma en el binomio materno-infantil : España
A predoctoral contract for up to 3 years is offered at the group of Dr. María Carmen Collado Amores to work in the proyect “Relevance of the microbiome and mycobiome in maternal-infant bionomial: isolation and characterization of new strains with probiotic potential”, at the Instituto de Agroquímica y Tecnología de los Alimentos (AITA) of Valencia, Spain.
Requierements:
- Be eligible for a Santiago Grisolía Fellowship from the Valencian Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of the annuity 2019
- Qualification: Possess a University degree by a non-Spanish institution in the fields of Biology, Microbiology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Medicine or Veterinary, completed after 01/01/2015
- Meet the requirements to be admitted to a doctoral program when you are selected, and be admitted to it at the time of hiring
- Meet the requirements to be admitted to a doctoral program when you are selected, these include having passed 60 credits included in one or more university master’s degrees – note that this is required for evaluating the application
- For starting the contract (September) the applicant should have been admitted in a PhD program and therefore should be already in possession of a Master degree
- Intermediate level knowledge of oral English and/or Spanish (B2)
- Applicants must not have previously completed a PhD
- Applicants must not have enjoyed a Santiago Grisolía fellowship before

Se ofrece un contrato predoctoral de hasta 3 años de duración en el grupo de investigación del Dr. María Carmen Collado Amores en el proyecto “Relevancia del microbioma y micobioma en el binomio materno-infantil: aislamiento y caracterización de nuevas cepas con potencial probiótico” (IATA, Valencia, España).
Requisitos:
- Ser candidato elegible al programa de becas Santiago Grisolía de la Comunidad Valenciana
- No haber disfrutado de esta misma ayuda con anterioridad
- Grado universitario por una universidad no española en Biología /Microbiología /Biomedicina/ Bioquímica /Medicina o Veterinaria, terminads después del 01/01/2015.
- Cumplir con los requisitos para ser admitido en un programa de doctorado en el momento de la finalización de la selección, y estar admitido en el mismo en el momento de la firma del contrato.
- Nivel intermedio de inglés y/o español (B2)
- No poseer el título de doctor
