Two Post-doctoral Positions in Molecular Microbiology: Belgium
Two 2-year post-doctoral positions funded by the Belgian Research Fund F.R.S-FNRS are available in the team of Francesco Renzi at the Research Unit in Biology of Microorganisms (URBM) of the University of Namur, Belgium.
The main lab interests are centered on the cell envelope of bacteria of the phylum Bacteroidetes that comprises saprophytes, commensals and pathogens.

Profile:
We are looking for self-motivated candidates with a strong background in Molecular Biology.
Experience in protein biochemistry, membrane proteins, protein transport across membranes and the biology of Bacteroidetes would be advantageous.
Applicants should hold a PhD in Molecular Microbiology or obtain it before June 2020 and must be able to conduct their work independently.
The candidates must be experiencing an “international mobility”, meaning that they shall not have resided or carried out their main activities (job, studies…) in Belgium for more than 24 months during the last 3 years directly before the first stay as a Postdoctoral fellow.
The starting date could be within the first half of 2020.
