Meet Dr. Yinka Somorin, member of the Society for Applied Microbiology (SfAM)

12-11-19 Joseph Shuttleworth

At FEMS2019 (7-11 July 2019) in Glasgow, Scotland, we interviewed a range of scientists to find our more about their research and teaching, their inspiration, and microbiology! In the fourth video of this series, we interviewed Dr Yinka Somorin after he had been speaking at a Community Corner session. He is a member of the Society for Applied Microbiology (SfAM), one of our Member Societies and co-organizerf of FEMS2019.

Here Yinka chats to us about his love for E. coli, ways to tackle antimicrobial resistance, how to encourage behaviour change, and much more.

Yinka’s microbiology hero: Louis Pasteur
