Meet Dr. Dukas Jurenas, FEMS volunteer and student of our Summer School for Postdocs
12-11-19
At FEMS2019 (7-11 July 2019) in Glasgow, Scotland, we interviewed a range of scientists to find our more about their research and teaching, their inspiration, and microbiology! In the third video of this series, we interviewed Dr Dukas Jurenas after he had been speaking at a Community Corner session.
Dukas also later attended the first ever FEMS Summer School for Postdocs, in Split (Croatia), during the summer of 2019, and is a volunteer for our Wikipedian Taskforce. Here he chats to us about beer yeast, our natural origins, and much more…
Dukas’ microbiology hero: Antonie van Leeuwenhoek
